Yishu Yan (PhD, 2024)

Yishu has her B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Hohai University and her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She is presuming her Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor Grace O. Connell and Professor Carisa Harris-Adamson at University of California, Berkeley. She performs research at the biomechanics lab and the ergonomics lab focusing on the prediction of occupational physical activities using inertial measurement units and deep learning models. Her personal interests are playing the piano, drawing, reading and traveling.
