Yarah Feteih

Yarah is a 4th year undergraduate student studying Mechanical Engineering. She joined the O’Connell lab during June 2022 and worked with Erin Archibeck to study the soft tissue failure mechanics and mechanical properties of the annulus fibrosus in intervertebral discs. The goal is to understand the relationship between biochemical diseases like diabetes and chronic kidney disease and disc degeneration and spinal injury. In her free time she loves to play soccer and volleyball and travel.
