Freddie joined the Berkeley Biomechanics Laboratory in January 2021 and has since received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and has begun to pursue his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with concentrations in biomechanics and human factors & ergonomics. He is a recipient of the NIOSH ERC Research Training Grant. His current research aims to perform and validate DIC analyses of ultrasound images of tendons within the carpal tunnel. Beyond his studies, Freddie is playing for the Cal NCAA men’s water polo team as a goalkeeper and also enjoys watching soccer, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
