Reece Huff

Reece Huff is a second-year Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. student in the Berkeley Biomechanics lab. He graduated from Boston University in 2021 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. He first became interested in biomechanics while studying vertebral fractures in Dr. Elise Morgan’s laboratory. He is now interested in utilizing deep learning techniques to better understand structure function relationships with in vivo imaging. He hopes his research will feed towards the development of improved prevention and treatment strategies of orthopaedic injuries and ailments. In his free time, Reece enjoys rock climbing, tennis, and chess.
