Sophie Oliveira Polidoro

Sophie Polidoro (she/her) earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where she also minored in History & Philosophy of Science. Her interest in biomechanics began through research exploring how biological materials deform under extreme mechanical loading. She is broadly interested in the intersection of mechanics, materials, and human health. In her free time, Sophie enjoys swimming, reading, and cooking.
